Title:
CAMERA AND METHOD FOR DERIVING ERROR OF SHUTTER SPEED
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010217277
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To allow a user to calibrate and adjust shutter accuracy without using a special measuring device or the like.

A still object TC having temporally nearly constant luminance is imaged for a first shutter opening time to obtain a first image, and is imaged for a second shutter opening time to obtain a second image. An actual exposure ratio is derived based on comparison between the first image and the second image. The error of the shutter speed is derived based on a result of comparing a theoretical exposure ratio obtained based on a ratio of theoretical exposure based on the first shutter opening time to theoretical exposure based on the second shutter opening time, with the actual exposure ratio.
