In the manufacturing method for the camera module comprising a mirror frame, a movable lens arranged on a tip side of a fixed lens and movable in an optical axis direction, and an actuator driving the movable lens in the optical axis direction in which the actuator includes an actuator base part that has a lens mount part fixed to an outer periphery of the movable lens and a driving part arranged at the outer periphery of the lens mount part and moving the lens mount part in the optical axis direction, the manufacturing method is configured to: mount onto the mirror frame a movable lens positioning tool having the same outer diameter as that of the fixed lens and having a movable lens mounting part for positioning the movable lens with respect to the fixed lens with the movable lens mounted onto the mirror frame formed on a top face; and fasten the actuator base part of the actuator to the mirror frame with the movable lens mounted onto the movable lens mounting part.
