Abstract:
To reduce the possibility of reflection of light when the light is made incident upon an optical isolator.
An optical isolator 10 includes a Faraday rotator 3, a first polarizer 1 provided on one principal face of the Faraday rotator 3, and a second polarizer 2 provided on the other principal face of the Faraday rotator 3. The first polarizer 1 has a lens part 4 positioned on an optical path.
