To improve the data inputting function of a camera equipped with a data inputting device.

A camera is provided with a function of recording magnetic data on a film F and a function of recording the data on an attachable/ detachable IC card 11. An input form previously set for uses such as a schedule is stored in a ROM 111 of the IC card 11, when the IC card 11 is loaded, the input form is displayed on an LCD display part 13 and then, it is possible to input the data. When the data is inputted by operating a key switch group 142 of a key control part 14 in accordance with the input form, the data are recorded in an EEPROM 112 of the IC card 11. Information as to a photographic image and other pieces of information are easily and freely inputted by recording the data on the IC card 11 while linking the data with the magnetic data.
