Abstract:
To solve the problem that, although it is important to ensure sealability in order to seam around a can lid, the conventional can has a large variation in a body hook amount BH, namely a length in the axial direction of a body hook formed by bending the end portion of a flange area of the can body.SOLUTION: In a can body having a flange area, a bending area, and a neck area in order from an opening end, an inside line of the can body which is an inside line in the longitudinal cross section formed by the plane including a can axis has a curvature radius smaller than that of the flange area and the neck area in the bending area, and has a tapered shape wider on the opening end side than the bottom end having the smallest distance from the can axis in the neck area, and thereby variation in a body hook amount BH when attaching the can lid is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
