Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canvas for belt excellent in abrasion resistance in which a soaking process is performed in a rubber process liquid using an organic peroxide cross-linking-based non-cross-linked hydrogenated nitrile rubber (H-NBR) composition excellent in heat resistance.
SOLUTION: The canvas 14 for belt set to a frictional force action site in a transmission belt 10 is subjected to the soaking process in the rubber process liquid, in which a non-cross-linked H-NBR composition comprising a mixture of a polyethylene powder having a molecular weight of 1,000,000 or more and an organic peroxide as a cross-linking agent is dissolved in a solvent.
