Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a capacitor which allows a capacitor element to be stably mounted on a mold, and easily uniformizes a thickness of an exterior resin coating the capacitor element.SOLUTION: A capacitor element 2 and a mold 4 are used. The capacitor element 2 has a first electrode 21, a second electrode 22, and a winding core 23. The mold 4 has a cavity 40. The capacitor element 2 includes a first projection 231, and a second projection 232. The first projection 231 projects from the first electrode 21. The second projection 232 projects from the second electrode 22. The mold 4 includes a first recess 401, and a second recess 402. The first projection 231 is fit into the first recess 401. The second projection 232 is fit into the second recess 402. In a state in which the capacitor element 2 is made to float in the cavity 40, a space between the capacitor element 2 and an inner surface 400 of the cavity 40 is filled with a resin 6 by injection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
