Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor whose electrical characteristics are stable.
SOLUTION: A glass paste of borosilicate lead bismuth based glass or boronsilicate barium based glass or the like is spread 0.001-0.1 μm thick on the upper and the lower surfaces of a ceramic element assembly 2 by using a method like a printing method. After that, stoving is performed at 850°C and a glass layer 2 is formed. As the material of a first electrode layer 4, a metal having both bonding strength to oxygen which is larger than that of Sn and Sn barrier effect is used. More specifically, Ti, Mo, V, Cr and Ni or alloy of them are used. As the material of a second electrode layer 5, a metal which is easily soldered is used. In practice, Au, Ag, Cu and Ni or alloy of them are used.
