Title:
CAPACITOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3918368
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a capacitor element from being thermally deformed due to filling of resin and levitating, by a method wherein capacitor element containers are provided in a lengthwise direction to a nearly rectangular parallelepiped sheathing case whose top surface is open, and a terminal is provided to the lengthwise side of the sheathing case.
SOLUTION: The top surface of a sheathing case 1 is opened, and capacitor element containers are arranged in the sheathing case in a lengthwise direction. A terminal 11 is provided to the lengthwise side of the sheathing case 1. A first plate 7 is provided to the top surface opening of the sheathing case 1 in a lengthwise direction so as to prevent a capacitor element 2 from levitating. A second plate is provided to the sheathing case 1 in a widthwise direction corresponding to the first plate 7 provided to the capacitor elements 2, by which the capacitor elements 3 are prevented from levitating and slipping out of place in the widthwise direction of the sheathing case 1. The tip of the second plate is brought into contact with the inner wall of the sheathing case 1, by which the sheathing case is prevented from being dimensionally deformed when filler resin is potted for the formation of a capacitor device and cured.
