To provide a variable-displacement swash-plate-model compressor in which a swash plate angle detection accuracy can be improved and thereby reliability of the compressor can be secured.
There is provided the variable-displacement swash-plate-type compressor 10 in which a couple of shoes 29 is housed in a depression 28a provided in a piston 28 inside a housing 11 and the piston 28 and the swash plate 22 are coupled via the shoes 29 to control a tilt angle of the swash plate 22, thus changing a stroke of the piston 28. The compressor is equipped with a magnet 35 which is formed from a magnetic material and is provided in a periphery of the swash plate 22 and a magnetic sensor 36 which is provided in the housing 11 in an opposite manner to the magnet 35 to detect magnetic force of the magnet 35. Further, in the compressor, a magnet mounting portion 22c whose diameter is smaller than that of a peripheral surface 22b of the swash plate 22 is formed in the peripheral surface 22b of the swash plate 22 and the magnet 35 is mounted on the magnet mounting portion 22c so as to be fitted into a virtual peripheral circle 22e of the swash plate 22 with part of the magnet 35 protruded in the magnet mounting portion 22c.
