Abstract:
To provide a hard capsule for medical use or health food use.
The base material of the capsule is pullulan and the capsule contains oyster pigment in an amount of 0.05-2 wt.% based on the base material. This invention provides a beautiful brown-colored capsule having a solubility comparable to commercially available capsules. The capsule has excellent breaking strength and excellent light resistance.
