Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body frame structure of a motorcycle capable of facilitating manufacturing and a weight reduction.SOLUTION: A vehicle body frame structure comprises: a head pipe 4 for steerably supporting a front wheel; a down frame 5 extending downward from the head pipe 4; and main frames 6L, 6R extending from the bottom part of the down frame 5 to the rear direction of a vehicle body. The main frames 6L, 6R comprises a pair of frame plate members 20i, 20o each having a substantially hat-shaped cross section, laterally joined to respective flange parts 20i-f, 20o-f. A front end part of each of the main frames 6L, 6R is welded to the bottom end of the down frame (5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
