Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a clearance gap between the head of an occupant and a headrest at a time when the occupant head comes into contact with this headrest due to a car crash.
SOLUTION: In a seat back frame 14, an upper part 14A is more curved in the rear of a car as compared with a lower part 14B, and likewise thickness of an upper part 15A of a seat back cushion 15 becomes thickened as compared with that of a lower part 15B. In addition, a pelvic part impact absorbent 18 is installed in the position of a seat back 12 corresponding to the pelvic part of an occupant, and a thorax part impact absorbent 24 is arranged in the position of the seat back 12 corresponding to the thorax part. In this case, since crush load of the thorax part impact absorbent 24 is lower than that of the pelvic part impact absorbent 18, the bust of the occupant is inclined backward in using the vicinity of an upper end of the pelvic part as a fulcrum in time of collision, whereby a clearance gap between a head part of the occupant and a headrest can be efficiently reduced.
