Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor for a crankcase scavenging type two-stroke engine that offers an air-fuel ratio corresponding to an engine load.
SOLUTION: The carburetor is used with a crankcase scavenging type two- stroke engine where an engine intake duct is divided into two separate passages. When a throttle valve 20 is opened, all fuel flows into the first passage 42 and 48 and only air flows in the second passage 44. When the throttle valve 20 is closed, fuel flows into both of the first passage 42 and 48, and the second passage 44.
