Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card management machine that manages cards identified as unregistered cards because of being unreadable to thereby improve security.SOLUTION: When the reading failure of a card is generated by the cause that magnetic information of a returned card is broken or the card other than the card previously registered in a card management machine 1 is inserted, the returned card charged to a card inlet port 5 is determined as an unregistered card. A control device acquires a number of a free card stacker recorded and determines whether or not the free card stacker exists (step S9). When determined that the free card stacker exists, the control device selects one of the free card stackers among the card stackers 10 (step S10). Then, the unregistered card is received in the free card stacker and stored temporarily, and information is recorded that the unregistered card generating the reading failure is received in the free card stacker (step S12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4a
