To maintain the stable state of a load handling device by stopping the movement of a movable partition wall such as lateral swinging in the load handling device for unloading and loading from and into a box body in which floor plates allowed to move in the longitudinal direction by a cylinder are placed at the bottom part thereof and a movable partition wall allowing only the floor plates to move when locked and moving together with the floor plates in moving is installed on the floor plates.
First chains 2a and 20a and second chains 2b and 20b are applied and stretched midway across rotary bodies 1a to 1d and 9a to 9d formed at the lower part of the movable partition wall 12 by separating the rotary bodies in the lateral direction of a wall from each other. Sprockets 3a and 3b engaged with the first chains 2a and 20a and second chains 2b and 20b are disposed between the first rotary bodies 1a and 9a and third rotary bodies 1c and 9c and the second rotary bodies 1b and 9b and fourth rotary bodies 1d and 9d. A rotation locking mechanism is fitted to the rotating shaft 5 of the sprockets 3a and 3b.
