To provide a cargo handling vehicle with a plurality of axles mounted thereon, offering simple construction permitting a proper change in the grounding condition of wheels depending on the loading of cargoes without requiring an elevator for the change in the grounding condition of the wheels.

The axles 8, 10 of the wheels 5, 7 located on the front and rear sides of a loading space 3 are mounted in such a manner that the grounding load of the wheels 5, 7 is greater than that of the axle 9 of the wheel 6 located in the middle thereof. Thus, when no cargoes are loaded on the loading space 3, the wheel 7 does not ground, but when cargoes are loaded on the loading space 3 of the cargo handling vehicle, the wheel 6 of the axle 9 grounds and so many wheels are subjected to loading.
