The external wound preventing cover is formed by laminating a flexible and impact resistant sheet on a film with a sucker corresponding to the developed shape of an outline of a protected portion of an assembled member (an automobile). When the external wound preventing cover is used, the sucker layer of the external wound preventing cover is pushed against and mounted on the protected portion of the assembled member with a hand before assembling work and the sucker layer of the external wound preventing cover is pulled and removed therefrom with a hand after assembling work.
