PURPOSE: To enable placing and carriage of even long reinforcing bar aggregates and bent aggregates by a method wherein, in a carrying vehicle for building materials, a prime mover, a reduction gear, and a running device are all arranged below a load-carrying platform, and the load-carrying platform is formed in a shape having no protrusion part.

CONSTITUTION: In a carriage vehicle, a prime mover E and reduction gears B on both sides are mounted on a truck frame 6, and a track C is driven by means of a drive sprocket 7 secured to an axle protruded from the reduction gear B. Vertical support levers are protruded from the truck frame 6, a base bed 3 is secured to the upper end of the vertical support levers, and a flat load-carrying platform F is mounted thereon. Since the load-carrying platform F occupies the whole surface of a machine body, even when quantities of long aggregates and bent aggregates 12-14 are placed thereon, a center of gravity position G is not moved, and the vehicle is run in a way that an operator M operates the reduction gear B through an operating part A. This constitution enables carriage of the long reinforcing bar aggregates and bent aggregates in a state to place the aggregates thereon.
