Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cope with the change to a work of different size by providing a mechanism which can simultaneously execute the carrying and the positioning of the work by one driving source.
CONSTITUTION: When the working direction of a cylinder 1 is switched to the carrying direction (to the right), a holder 2 shifts an upper rod 5 and a lower rod 6 to the right, and shifts a receiving claw 9 fixed to the upper rod 5 and a feeding claw 8 fixed to the lower rod 6 both to the right, and at the same time, carries a work W to the right by the feeding claw 8. When the upper rod 5 is stopped by a rod stopper 18, the holder 2 further moves to the traveling end, and only the lower rod 6 to which no stopping pressure is applied moves to the right. Thus, a pinion 17 between racks 15, 16 is rotated counterclockwise, causing a movement to return the upper rod 5 to the middle and left, while the pinion moves again to the right by the holder 2. This constitution allows the positioning to cope with the different-sized work by changing the position of the stopper 18.
