Title:
CARTRIDGE HOLDING AND POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR RECORDING MEDIUM LIBRARY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03119556
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately hold a cartridge in a prescribed position independently of the taking-in direction by providing a stopper means in a prescribed position of an aperture of a holding means to hold and position the taken-in cartridge.

CONSTITUTION: Stopper mechanisms S1 and S1' are arranged in apertures 6A and 6B in both end parts of a holder 6 as the holding means for the purpose of stopping cartridges, which are inserted to holder pockets PC1 and PC2 in the direction of an arrow A or B, in prescribed positions. These stopper mechanisms S1 and S1' have the same constitution and permit passage of cartridges in end parts on the cartridge taking-in side. They are projected to apertures in the other end part, and cartridges are held and positioned by projected stopper mechanisms S1 and S1'. Thus, the cartridge is accurately held in the prescribed position whichever side the cartridge is taken into the holder from.
