To provide a cartridge type coating film transfer instrument capable of fixing a cartridge to a case so as not to be detachable by a method wherein the number of parts is reduced and the replacement work of the cartridge is simplified while a transfer head is turned upon effecting horizontal drawing in accordance with a necessity.

The cartridge type coating film transfer instrument is constituted of the case 3, the transfer head 17 and the tape cartridge 31. The case is provided with a bottom wall 5 and a peripheral wall 9 while one side of the same is opened. A cartridge case 33 for the tape cartridge is provided with a peripheral wall 35 and an upper wall 37 while being fitted into the case to close the open side of the case. The transfer head is attached to the case and is turnable about the axial center of the same. An arced part 23c is provided integrally with the rear part 23 of a shaft unit 20 and when the head is turned to a given direction, the arced part 23c is moved to the upper side of a bridge 56 formed integrally with the inside of the upper wall of the tape cartridge.
