PURPOSE: To prevent damage due to the disappearance and destruction of the data in an IC card by providing a data storing means, a storage start time judging means and a storage processing means on a case for the IC card.

CONSTITUTION: In a case for an IC card provided with a power source part 5, a data storing means 11, a storage start time judging means 8b and a storage processing means 8c are provided. The data storing means 11 comprises a non-volatile memory or a volatile memory in which data is stored by power from the power source part 5 or the like and stores the recorded data. The storage start time judging means 8b judges a storage start time to the data storing means 11 every time of a prescribed processing by a control part 8 or based on a prescribed input signal and outputs a storage start command signal to the storage processing means 8c. The storage processing means 8c executes access to the information storing part of the IC card and stores the data in the information storing part into the data storing means 11. Thus, the loss of information in the IC card can be avoided.
