PURPOSE: To provide a case which is storable, transportable and easy to display the contents, by accommodating the contents in a case with a sloping lid-joint face and attaching the case and the lid together via the detachably interengageable stepped-recess and spigot portions.

CONSTITUTION: A case B1 is provided with a sloping opening edge having a joint portion T1, all around whose periphery a stepped-recess portion 5 is provided at an arbitrary depth. Lid body B2 is provided with a sloping opening edge having the same inclination angle as in the case body B1 and a joint portion T2, all around whose periphery a spigot portion 6 is provided for freely detachable engagement with the stepped-recess portion 5, with its quadrant corners in the same shape extending from its flat surface. The case body B1 and the lid B2 are detachably attached together via the stepped-recess portion 5 and the spigot portion 6, thereby bringing the joint portions T1 and T2 into close contact and affording a completely closed case. There is no displacement between the case and the lid with the contents accommodated therein, a rectangular packaging case being formed.
