Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stainproofing coating composition which gives a coating film whose surface exhibits hydrophilicity even just after being formed, is excellent in the resistance to penetration by staining substances, and is useful for surface finishing by combining a specified acrylic polyol, a specified alkoxysilane, a specified alkyl silicate and/or condensate thereof, and a specified polyisocyanate with each other.
SOLUTION: This coating composition comprises 100 pts.wt. tert- aminoacrylicpolyol (A) having a weight average molecular weight of 5,000-80,000 and a hydroxyl value of 20-150 KOHmg/g, 0.1-20 pts.wt. alkoxysilane compound (BY) containing a polyalkylene oxide chain having 2-40 repeating units and a weight-average molecular weight of 150-3,500, 1-40 pts.wt. at least either an alkyl silicate represented by the formula (wherein R1 is a 1-10C alkyl) or a condensate thereof (C), and a polyisocyanate (D) in an amount to give an equivalent ratio of the hydroxyl groups of acrylicpolyol A to the isocyanate groups of 0.6-1.5.
