Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a bill collecting cost by providing a measure unit for individually controlling appliances of respective houses and a managing machine connected to the measure unit by a line, and renewing a balance when the cash is received. CONSTITUTION:In a management machine 3, there are provided a CRT keyboard 6, a printer 7, a card reader 8 and a CPU 9, which are connected to respective measuring units 2-a-2-n by a line 5. When a resident comes to the window of the company at the end of the month, delivers its ID card 13 and cash to an operator of the company and the operator inserts the card 13 into the reader 8, the CPU 9 reads a house code written, the balance corresponding to the house code from a RAM 10 and displays on a display picture plane of the CRT 6. Then, when the operator displays an amount of the payment money, the CPU 9 adds the balance and the amount of the payment money and renews the balance of the RAM 10 making the added result a balance. Then, the operator operates the keyboard 6 and prints out a receipt by the printer 7 and the bill collecting cost can be reduced.
