PURPOSE: To provide a cash vault for tellers active on both sides capable of safely preventing an unauthorized access to the total amount of banknotes stored in the cash vault and making available in a banknote input/disbursement device.

CONSTITUTION: A cash vault 1 includes a banknote input/disbursement device 10. A banknote repository device 35 is provided in the inside of a vault base device 15. Banknotes to be disbursed can only ever be removed by one of two tellers in a disbursement device 10 of the banknote input/disbursement device 10. The banknote input/disbursement device 10 can be removed as a whole without breaking it down from the vault base device 15, an unauthorized access to the banknotes stored in the banknote repository device 35 then being impossible. The cash vault 1 has high master serviceability because of its modular efficiency, and this master serviceability can be promoted by specially a simple joint device capable of being detached for a cover plate or a partition plate at right angles to each other, the banknote repository device 35 capable of moving forward from the vault base device 15 and a mounting device for removing tension of a bundle of cables.
