PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make operation possible locking/unlocking a lock device of a caster by only stepping in of a foot, by tilting a rotary bar successively provided in line with a foot pedal, interposition stopping from both sides the caster width- contracted against a spring in a stopper able to slide, maintaining a condition interposition stopped by this stepping in operation, and providing an association equipment which can release the maintained condition when the foot pedal is stepped in.
SOLUTION: In a caster lock device providing a foot pedal 2 in a front side lower part of a main unit of cabinet or the like, able to stop/release rotation of a caster by operation stepping in the foot pedal 2, the caster 4 is stopped by interposition from both sides against a spring 21 in a stopper able to slide to be width contracted by tilting a rotary bar 9 successively provided in line with the foot pedal 2 and an interposition stopped condition by this stepping in operation is maintained. An association equipment 14 is provided, which can release the maintained condition when the foot pedal 2 is further stepped in. In this way the caster can be stopped and released, operability is extremely improved with single operation by stepping in the foot pedal in the front side lower part of the cabinet main unit.
