To provide a casting apparatus where a molten metal is fed to a die without the reduction of temperature and the entanglement of air without using packing for sealing to a goose neck heater and a joint part.
Disclosed is a casting apparatus provided with: a hot chamber type die casting machine 1; and a melting furnace 2. The goose neck 3 of the hot chamber type die casting machine is provided with a tapered goose neck jaw part 3a whose tip is fixed from the outside of the side wall to the side wall through the side wall of the melting furnace. The side wall of the melting furnace 2 is provided with a through-hole joined with the goose neck jaw part 3a in such a manner that an injection nozzle 4 in the hot chamber type die casting machine 1 and the goose neck jaw part 3a are located so as to be lower than a molten metal surface 9. Further, in the casting apparatus, the goose neck jaw part 3a can be stored and fixed in such a manner that molten metal is not leaked out to the inside of the through-hole of the side wall of the melting furnace, and also, the molten metal can be injected into the die without the entanglement of air.
