Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method and a casting apparatus for a copper electrolysis anode enabled to suppress the crack of an anode side face and to prevent the "expansion" of an anode surface by scattering a parting agent without being mixed in a mold, when the anode is cast by scattering a plurality of kinds of parting agents.SOLUTION: A casting method is characterized by scattering slurries of clay water or barium sulfate alternately as a parting agent into a mold at each turn of a turntable, when a copper electrolysis anode having a pair of depending ear parts on the two sides of the crown of an anode body is cast by a mold on a turntable to rotationally move intermittently.
