Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press die management method and a press die management device capable of managing an accurate time for die polishing of each die component even when pressing is performed with a plurality of steps integrated into a single step.SOLUTION: The die management method manages a die of a press 1, which performs press working by use of a die having a plurality of components and is controlled by a program. The program has a plurality of pieces of maintenance count data for each component, and the maintenance count data includes data CXn indicating the number of times each component has been used, data CYn indicating the number of times each component is scheduled to be used, and a weight Mn corresponding to a use frequency of each component per motion. To the data CXn indicating the number of times each component has been used, the weight Mn is added for every motion, and once the data CXn reaches the data CYn indicating the number of times each component is scheduled to be used, an operator is notified thereof.
