PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method capable of suppressing the generation of blow holes without enlarging a device.SOLUTION: Provided is a casting method comprising: a step where molten metal 7 is filled into the cavity 23 of a mold 2; and a step where the molten metal 7 filled into the cavity 23 is pressure-solidified. Before the step of filling the molten metal 7, a step of forming a porous film 5 on the surface of the mold 2 and a step of impregnating the porous film 5 with a liquid 6 gasified at a temperature lower than the temperature of the molten metal 7 are included.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
