To provide the catalytic cracking treatment of a petroleum hydrocarbon, and to provide a double tube upflow reactor used therefor.
This catalytic cracking treatment of the petroleum hydrocarbon comprises feeding a catalyst into the inner tube of the double tube upflow reactor and into a circular space between the inner tube and the outer tube to bring the catalyst into contact with the hydrocarbon raw material, cracking the contacted hydrocarbon raw material under FCC conditions, allowing the reaction product to flow to a separator through a confluent tube, separating the produced hydrocarbon flow from the used catalyst, removing and reactivating the used catalyst, and then recycling the reactivated catalyst to reuse the catalyst. Thereby, both the distribution of the product and the characteristics of the product can be improved.
