Abstract:

PURPOSE: A cataplasm capable of retaining the moisture of the mass moderate at all times, having a cure promoting action on wounds, comprising an aluminum derivative of allantoin.

CONSTITUTION: A cataplasm mass comprising 0.1W20 wt.% of an aluminum derivative of allantoin, e.g. allatoin chlorohydroxyaluminum, or allantoin dihydroxyaluminum. The cataplasm is a plaster, cold or warm fomentation. The compound ingredient imparts cure promoting actions on wounds as well as the anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions to the conventional cataplasm.
