Abstract:

To provide a cationic azo compound with julolidine units that can be used as a direct dye for keratin fibers, in particular, human keratin fiber such as the hair.

The present application relates the use of cationic azo compound with julolidine units as direct dyes, for dyeing keratin fibers, in particular, human keratin such as the hair. The present application also relates to a dyeing composition for the dyeing of keratin fiber, in particular, human keratin such as the hair. The present application also relates to a method for dyeing keratin fiber, in particular, human keratin such as the hair, employing the dyeing composition according to the invention. The present application also relates to certain particular cationic azo compound with julolidine units.
