To provide a cavity resonance variable wheel capable of improving vehicle interior comfortability.
A wheel 1 includes a rim portion 6 for supporting a bead portion 4 of a tire 2 and a disc portion 12 for linking the rim portion 6 and an axle 10. This wheel 1 is composed of a major diameter bottom face 16 formed in an inside section in the vehicle cross direction bordering a disc portion 12 when viewed from the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; and a minor diameter bottom face 18 formed in an outside section in the vehicle cross direction bordering the disc portion 12 when viewed from the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, as well as being formed in an offset manner at the place closer to the inside in the diameter direction of the wheel 1 than the major diameter bottom face 16. This system raises a frequency of the cavity resonance of the wheel 1, which is generated during a vehicle travel, and increases a difference between the frequency of the cavity resonance and a specific frequency of a suspension member. Thus, the system can avoid the resonance generated between the frequency of the cavity resonance and the specific frequency of the suspension member, thus efficiently exhibiting a vibration isolating effect of the suppression member.
