To provide a ceiling fan capable of achieving a high-speed rotation while achieving low power consumption, silent and stable blowing by reducing unstable rotation without using any DC motor or control circuit mounted with a micro computer.
The ceiling fan comprises a high-speed rotation connector means 16b and a low speed rotation connector means 16a which are connected to a commercial AC power source. When the commercial AC power source is connected to the high-speed rotation connector means 16b, the ceiling fan performs a constant operation at a rotation number synchronized with the power frequency of the commercial AC power source. When the commercial AC power source is connected to the low speed rotation connector means 16a, the ceiling fan performs a constant operation at a rotation number of one third of the rotation number synchronized with the power frequency of the commercial AC power source. The ceiling fan achieves low power consumption, silent and stable blowing by reducing unstable rotation; and the high-speed rotation ensures users cool and flesh feeling.
