The cell voltage detection circuit detects reduction in an output voltage of a lithium cell 11 by comparing the output voltage with a threshold (voltage detection level) of a voltage detection element 13. The cell voltage detection circuit includes a load circuit for making a load current flow according to the ambient temperature of the lithium cell 11 and changes an output voltage of the lithium cell 11 according to the ambient temperature.
