Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject formulation capable of improving the fermentation quality of a silage without causing the loss of nutrient ingredients due to the discharge of a juice (drain) by mixing cellulases produced by specific two kinds of fungi.
SOLUTION: This cellulase formulation is obtained by mixing (A) a cellulase produced by a fungus of the genus Acremonium with (B) a cellulase produced by a fungus of the genus Trichoderma at 1:(0.1-9.0) ratio expressed in terms of the avicelase activity ratio. The resultant formulation at a low pH is excellent in high productivity of lactic acid and low-volatile base nitrogen and hardly increases the production amount of the discharge of a juice (drain).
