Abstract:
The present invention provides a cellulose acylate film having small optical anisotropy and small variation in optical characteristics due to heat and humidity, and no surface failure, change in performance and has excellent processability, durability in the production of a polarizing plate using the said film as a protective film, and a liquid display device using the said polarizing plate contains the said protective film to provide a wide view angle and exhibits high display quality. The absolute retardation value Rth at 25DEG C 60% RH of the said cellulose acylate film is less than 25 nm, and the difference of the said absolute value Rth between at 25DEG C 10% RH and at 25DEG C 80% RH is less than 40 nm.
