Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize at least one of providing a centrifugal pump realizing its capability more stably, preferably a centrifugal pump for restricting a reduction in capability of the pump, and restricting the amount of gas dissolved in liquid.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a centrifugal pump 1 comprising a suction port 13 for sucking fluid; an impeller 5 having a plurality of vanes 51 at least on the side of the suction port 13, sucking fluid through the suction port 13 through the rotation around a prescribed shaft 3 passing through the suction port 13 and discharging the fluid in a direction crossing at a right angle with the shaft 3; a pump head 6 having the suction port 13 and storing the impeller 5; the first opening part 10 opened at the location of the pump head 6 oppositely facing against the plurality of vanes 51 at the side of the suction port 13; the second opening part 11 opened at a location of the pump head 6 present in at least one of a direction crossing at a right angle with the shaft 3 and a direction opposite to the side of the suction port 13; and a passage 12 connecting the first opening part 10 with the second opening part 11.
