Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal fan capable of reducing the generation of noise.SOLUTION: A centrifugal fan 1 is equipped with: an impeller 30; a lower casing 21 configured by using a metallic plate, and positioned under the impeller 30; a motor 60 installed to the lower casing 21 to rotate the impeller 30; and a circuit board 69 on which a drive circuit of the motor 60 is disposed. At a center portion of the lower casing 21, a recessed portion 23 depressed downward is formed. In the recessed portion 23, the circuit board 69, and a part of a stator 67 of the motor 60 are stored. The impeller 30 has an upper side shroud 31, a lower side shroud 41, and a plurality of blades 51 aligned in a circumferential direction between the upper side shroud 31 and the lower side shroud 41. On a surface of a front edge side of the blades 51, a discontinuous part 57 having a stepped shape is provided. With rotations of the impeller 50, a fluid introduced from a suction port of the upper side shroud 11 is discharged to a side part of the impeller 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
