Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the formulation containing a specific amount of cefaclor as an active ingredient, further containing excipients and coadjuvants, and suitable for the direct compression manufacture of dispersible tablets for treating the infections of streptococcus and staphylococcus bacteria. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical formulation contains cefaclor as an active ingredient in an amount of 35-50 wt.% based on the total weight of the formulation, and further contains excipients and coadjuvants such as (A1 ) disintegrators, (A2 ) diluents, (A3 ) lubricants, (A4 ) antiadherents, (A5 ) sweeteners, and (A6 ) fragrances. In the formulation, the component A1 includes sodium alkoxylated starches, acrylic acid derivatives, the mixtures of the sodium alkoxylated starches with CM-cellulose, and preferably crospovidone. The component A2 includes microcrystalline cellulose, dry starch powder, and their mixtures. The component A3 includes stearyl sodium fumarate. The component A4 includes colloidal silicon dioxide. The component A5 includes aspartame, saccharin sodium and their mixture. The component A6 includes strawberry aromatic agents.
