PURPOSE: To reinforce strength by the use of a waste molten glass sintered-body and form a large plate, by alternately bonding a sintered body obtained by sintering the powder of waste molten glass and a sintered body obtained by sintering the powder of waste glass, and then forming the laminate into the plate.
CONSTITUTION: A ceramics composite is obtained by alternately bonding sintered bodies 2 and 3 of different properties. Waste molten glass of which one sintered body 2 is made is obtained by cooling and solidifying molten slag obtained by melting waste such as municipal refuse, sludge, blown ash, waste extracted-matters at a mine, deposits at the bottom of rivers, mudlike deposits at the bottoms of lakes and marshes, etc. Waste glass of which the other sintered body 3 is made is obtained by grinding recovered bottles, etc., into powder of proper particle size, thereby producing a sintering material. A raw material glass, having a proper particle size, of the waste molten glass is mixed with water together with clay, etc., and then kneaded to obtain a claylike body, and powder, having a proper particle size, of the waste glass is mixed with water together with clay, etc., and then kneaded to obtain a claylike body. Both the clay-like bodies are bonded together, formed into a proper shape, dried and solidified, and then calcined to be integrated.
