The ceramics filter 1 includes a honeycomb structure part including porous partition walls 3 each containing ceramics as a main constituent, and a plurality of cells 5, wherein the honeycomb structure part 11 includes plugged cells 11; a cross-sectional shape of the cell 5 has a quadrangle partitioned by the partition walls 3 extending in a direction X and the partition walls 3 extending in a direction Y in a cross-sectional surface of the honeycomb structure part vertical to a direction Z with which the cell 5 communicates; and a cross-sectional surface of the plugged cell part 11 includes a first strip-like region 13 traversing the cross-sectional surface of the honeycomb structure part in a strip-like form at an angle of 15-45° with respect to the direction X, and a second strip-like region 15 traversing the cross-sectional surface of the honeycomb structure part in a strip-like form while vertically intersecting the first strip-like region 13.
