To provide a charging control apparatus which, when a cell voltage is detected by measuring the voltage across both ends of a bypass section which is connected in parallel with a cell battery selectively and passes a bypass current, can detect an accurate cell voltage even when a voltage drop occurs owing to the impedance of a voltage measuring line connecting the cell battery and the bypass section resulting from the passage of a current through the bypass section.
A component (for example, the internal resistance rf1 of a fuse F1) present in the voltage measuring line La1, an impedance component r1 of a wiring pattern, and the total value (Z1) of the impedance are recorded in advance. A bypass current Ib1 is calculated through a bypass resistance R1 from a cell voltage detection value (the terminal voltage of the bypass section 19-1) Va1 when the bypass section 19-1 is operated (Ib1=Va1/R1). A developed voltage drop value ΔVr1 is calculated (ΔVr1=Ib1×Z1), which is then added to the detected cell voltage Va1 (Va1+ΔVr1).
