Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate battery temperature while preventing overcharge.SOLUTION: When the battery temperature is lower than a heating target temperature during the charge of a battery 20, a charger 10 drives heating means 104 to increase the battery temperature. Also, when the SOC of the battery 20 is a current limit SOC or higher and the battery temperature is lower than the heating target temperature, the charger 10 performs limited charging in which a charging current to be supplied from a car charger 102 is limited to a predetermined current amount or lower. The current limit SOC is set to be higher than and including an SOC, and lower than a full charge SOC, at a switchover judgment voltage in the case of, for example, constant power and constant voltage charging.
