Abstract:
To provide a charging device that can be downsized for even a cartridge having a charge cleaning device, and a cartridge and an image forming device equipped with the charging device.SOLUTION: Provided is a charging device used in an image forming device, comprising: a charging roller coming in contact with an image carrier provided in the image forming device and electrically charging it; and a cleaning device for cleaning the charging roller. The cleaning device includes: a brush hair portion abutting on the charging roller; a brush member having a brush hair support part; a support part for supporting the brush member; and a brush electrode plate for feeding the brush member with electric power from a power supply. The brush hair support part includes a body part, and a folded part provided at an end part of at least one side of the charging roller in an axial direction and folded back to the body part. The support part is arranged by being held between the body part and the folded part. The brush electrode plate comes in contact with the folded part while holding the folded part between the support part and itself and feeding the brush member with electric power via the folded part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
