PURPOSE: To provide a charging device in which the insertion of a raw material between linear members for forming a chute of the device for sintering material and the adherence of the material to the surfaces of a wire are prevented.

CONSTITUTION: This charging device for a sintering material comprises a pair of rotary supports 24 at the right and left sides of a chute, a pair of winding mechanisms placed at the outsides of the supports, rolls 8 having the supports 24, and a driving means for rotating the rolls 8. The support 24 has a groove 25 for guiding and supporting a steel wire 5 and is formed to be integrally mounted with a roll shaft 23 in response to a wire interval, and the sectional shape of the groove bottom supported in contact with the wire 5 in the circumferential direction is different from that of the adjacent groove 25 or eccentrically deviated in the different directions to the roll rotating shaft to be arranged when the sectional shape is the same.
