PURPOSE: To facilitate the execution and to reduce a thermal stress by restricting shaped refractories for lower and upper stages by a clamping pin and an inserting pin to a receiving plate welded to the inner surface of a shell and stacking shaped refractories for intermediate between the refractories to form a furnace wall.
CONSTITUTION: A receiving plate 10 protruding horizontally from the inner surface of a shell 1 to be welded has a clamping pin 14 protruding from the lower stage, and an inserting pin 15 vertically movably inserted to the upper site. After the support hole 16 of the shaped refractory 11 for a lower stage is engaged with the upper part of the pin 14, then a shaped refractory 12 for intermediate and a shaped refractory 13 for upper stage are sequentially stacked, the pin 15 is dropped from the plate 10 to the support hole 19 of the refractory 13 to be coupled, thereby sequentially building the furnace wall between the plates 10. In this case, a filler 20 such as mortar is filled in the hole 16 after the pin 14 is engaged, and the pin 15 is inserted to the hole 19 after the filler 20 is filled in the hole 19.
